I have been denied from encashing my leaves for 5 days on the ground that the leave is to be encashed at the time of availing LTC as the sanction memo for such encashment of leave was issued by my office after commencement of my tour on LTC. Can anyone clarify it. I had applied for the encashment at the time of appliction for Earned leave but the office issued memo on a later date. Should I suffer for this

Can a government servant avail Earned Leave encashment for LTD even if he himself is not travelling & only his family members are travelling

how the Earned Leaves will be calculated?
Is it always like 2.5days/calender month.
Calender month should always be from 1-30th or can it be e.g. 6 June to 5 July?

How will you calculate EL if an employee joins the service on 6th Nov? ( EL for period from 6 nov to 31 dec) ?
