No. HRD/2(3)82/EO-AO/Pt-III/43140

Dated: 19 Oct 2010

To
All Additional Central P.F. Commissioners,
All Regional P.F. Commissioner (I) In-Charge of the Regions,
All Regional P.F. Commissioner (II) In-Charge of the SROs.

Subject: Grant of Pay Structure of Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-2 to the post that exists in the pre-revised scale of Rs.6500-10500 as on 01.01.2006 which were granted the Normal replacement Pay Structure of Grade Pay of Rs.4200 in the PB-2.

Sir,
Please refer to this office letter No. HRD/1(2) 2008/Implementation of 6th CPC/16306 dated 17.03.2010 on the subject mentioned above wherein Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- in place of Rs.4200/- was allowed to the cadre of EO/AO.

In this circular, it was further clarified that as per the H.O. letter NO. HRD/1(a)2003/Pay scales/Pt.II/60951-6500-10500 notionally w.e.f. 1/04/2004 with actual financial effect from 1/9/2007, therefore the financial benefits in accordance with the DoPT circular in the cadre of EO/AO shall be effected w.e.f. 1/09/2007 onwards.

In this regard, it is to state that it has come to the notice of the Head Office that while implementing the above mentioned order of granting Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- to EO/AO, the benefit of pay fixation has also been extended by some regions, either by giving increment or by fixing the basic pay corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of Rs.7450-11500/- by using fitment table. This is totally erroneous and against the spirit of the order.

It is once again clarified that the aforesaid letter permits the grant of only Grade pay of Rs.4600 in place of Rs.4200 and no benefits of pay fixation i.e. grant of any increment of fixation of pay using fitment table corresponding to pre-revised scale of Rs.7450-11500/- are to be given in this regard. If such benefits have been given, then the recovery of the excess amount should immediately be effected and an action taken report be sent to this office by 29th October 2010 positively.

s/d
Yours faithfully

(R.K.Kukreja)
Regional P.F. Commissioner (HRM)

Pay fixation formula as suggested by EPFO regarding fixation into Grade pay Rs.4600/- is totally erroneous and not consistent with Finance ministry U.O note 10/1/2010-IC dated 27.1.10 which allows fitment table of Rs.7450.

sir, I am Mahesh Sharma employee in Home Ministry AS Assistants and PAs were with the scale of Rs.5500 But now there scale is enhanced/equal to Rs.6500/-(ACIO-I).IT is unfare with scale of Rs.6500.Those got Rs.5500 basic earlier. now getting G.P 4200/-(ACIO-II).AS ASSISTANTs got G.P-4600, our ACIO-II THOSE GETTING G.P-4200 MUST BE KEPT GP-4600 AND THOSE HAVE RS.6500/(ACIO-I)GP-4600 MUST ENHANCED WITH GP-4800/.THEN THE THINGS WOULD BE JUSTIFIED.

Anonymous said...

binil m.s. says it is unjust to keep the acio-ii(mha) in gp -4200/- as pa and assistant have been increased to gp 4600/-

Anonymous said...

it is unjust to allow the acio-ii of ib the gp of 4200/-. it should be 4600/-

Anonymous said...

why is here anamoly in the pay of assistants,pa and ACIo-ii of IB(MHA), where all were in same pay stucture before 6th pay commission.
assistants, PA are given 4600/- garde pay, where as ACIO-I s are allowed only 4200/-gp. a large gap between salaryrange. Is it really a democratic and independent country or a country with equal opportunity as frequently uttered by law makers, politician overall the govt.

why govt. is thinking twice to increase the gp of ACIO-II(IB)from 4200/- to 4600/-

Respected sir kindly help me
I was Appointed as LDC on 21/5/75

1) I got 1st promotion as UDC w.e.f 1/10/80.
2) 2nd pro as ASSTT. Store keeper wef 8/9/94 (pre revised) 5000-8000, revised rs 9300-34800 with GP rs 4200.
3) 3rd pro as SK wef "19/2/2008" pre revised scale 5500-9000 which revised az 9300-34800 with GP rs 4200.

As per recommendations of the revised pay scale of 6th CPC the pay bend & GR pay of asstt store keeper & store keeper have been merged and both the posts are having same pay structure & grade pay ie 9300-34800 with grade pay of rs 4200.
Thus my third pro ie ASK to Sk wef 19/2/08 was in the same scale of pay & grade pay & due to this merger no pay fixation benefit was given to me being same grade.
Thus my third promotion which if from 19/2/08 has become "NULLIFIED".

"HENCE I HAVE GOT ONLY two PROMOTION BENIFIT DURING IN MY 35 YEAR SERVICE".

Please reply me sir, whether I am entile for 3rd MACP wef 1/9/08 in PB 9300-34800 with GP 4600.

Thanku sir, am waiting for your.
