Expected DA from July 2011

Likely Dearness Allowance for July 2011 for Central Employees

Though it is very early to predict the D.A. for July 2011 at this point of time, we are being flooded by queries in this relation. It may be realized that D.A. is complete based on arithmetical calculation on All India CPI (IW) (Base 2001=100), the data for the entire six months is required to calculate the installment of D.A. payable. The labour bureau has released the figure for Jan, Feb and March as 188, 185 and 185 respectively. We are yet to know the figures of April, May and June. If we assume that there is no further increase or decrease in the numbers {maintains the cureent level for the next 3 months}, the D. A will be 7% from July 2011.

It is again reminded that it is only an assumption, the correct figure will be uploaded as soon as data available.

Hi.

I just want to infom all concerned that even an increase of 20 % DA is not going to mitigate the financial diff.. of employees ., let us prya that this govt ladded with scam should resign or we should adopt the the egypt method... God bless the country ..God bless the Queen.. (pre- independence) who in our country has got the guts to come forward like Anna Hazare to bring down this Govt. ( IHave three members in family and gas cylindr goes form only 2 months how the hell the ration gas cylinder 4 for a year0.... no further comments u all know btte than me.....
the prices of basic things like gas petrol, rice etc have gone up,we may expect 8 to 9% hike in da

It is now sure that CG employeees would be getting 58% and not 59% as DA wef 1st July 2011.

However, the price burden actually on the common man is much more viz. essential commodites like petrol and milk prices have gone up by 10-15% in last 3 months.

So All SHOULD COME TOGETHER TO PRESS FOR 50% DA MERGER IN BASIC PAY ( IN THE NAME OF DEARNESS PAY) AS WAS DONE IN FIFTH PAY COMMISSION.
