OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Fresh empanelment of private hospitals and diagnostic centres and revision of package rates applicable under CGHS BANGALORE AND HYDERABAD.

The undersigned is directed to invite reference to this Ministry’s Office Memoranda of even number dated the 8th December 2010 and the 19th January 2011 vide which continuous empanelment scheme has been initiated under CGHS, BANGALORE AND HYDERABAD for treating CGHS beneficiaries. The CGHS rates applicable have already been notified and are available on CGHS website. Three rates were notified, one for super-speciality hospitals, the second for hospitals that were accredited with the NABH and the third for hospitals not accredited with the NABH.

2. The undersigned is directed to enclose further list of hospitals and diagnostic centres under the categories mentioned in the application for continuous empanelment and tender document that have conveyed their acceptance of the CGHS rates notified under different CGHS Cities and have signed the Memorandum of Agreement with CGHS and have also furnished the appropriate performance bank guarantee. These hospitals and diagnostic centres are now taken as included in the list of approved hospitals for empanelment under CGHS, BANGALORE AND HYDERABAD.

Helping Hand to Patients and Attendants at AIIMS, New Delhi

As the prevailing cold conditions continue to increase the hardships and sufferings of the patients reaching the Trauma Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), for their treatment; Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (CGWWA) extended a helping hand to the relatives and patients by distributing eatables and essential items of daily use to them yesterday. This humanitarian act of the CGWWA was well appreciated by the patients and their relatives. As most of the patients at the AIIMS are from out of the city, they have to incur heavy expenditure for their stay in the city. This gesture was aimed at easing their financial hardship on food items and essential items of daily use.

Subject: Rates of room charges of Holiday Homes and Touring Officers Hostel under Ministry of Urban Development - Revision thereof.

Reference is invited to Directorate of Estates O.M. of even No. dated 30th January 2012 on the above mentioned subject. In this connection it is stated that all visitors to holiday homes and touring officer's hostel/guest house have to pay booking charges as per revised rates. The prospective visitors whose booking have already been confirmed are required to pay the different amount to the caretaker/concerned authority of holiday home and touring officer's hostel/guest house at the time of check in. Further, the prospective applicants are advised that the demand draft towards booking charges for the period w.e.f.1st March 2012 may be sent as per revised charges otherwise their applications will not be entertained and rejected summarily.

Subject: Rates of room charges of Holiday Homes and Touring Officer's Hostel under Ministry of Urban Development - Revision thereof.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Directorates O.M. No. D-11028/8/94-Regions dated 4.7.2001 and 26.12.2001 regarding charges of rooms/suits of holiday homes & O.M. No. D-11028//02/2007-Regions dated 28th January 2008 notifying the rates of charges of rooms/suits of Touring Officer’s Hostels/Guest houses and to say that it has been decided, with the approval of IFD (Ministry of Urban Development) vide Diary Number 681/DFA/FD/11 dated 16.12.2011 to revise these rates based on category/popularity of holiday homes and touring officers hostels/guest houses as per Annexure.
