50% DA Merger, Retirement Age 62 and Interim Relief – Cabinet is likely to clear some of these demands..!

This week may bring cheer to central employees and pensioners

Central Govt. employees and pensioners will find reasons to celebrate this week. The union cabinet is likely to clear some long awaited demands for it’s staff in the next meeting later this week The F.M., currently on foreign tour, likely to return India on 26th February and after which cabinet meeting is likely to take place.

According to information available with us, merger of 50% D.A., an additional hike of 10% D.A. from 01.01.2014, granting of Interim Relief and enhancing retirement age to 62 years are under the consideration of Govt. and some of these are to be approved in the next cabinet meeting.

As the notification of loksabha poll may be issued in the first week of March, this would be the last cabinet meeting before the code of conduct comes into force.

So the central employees and pensioners may definitely hope for some bonanza to be announced this week.

its a great move being taken by the upa government for all the central employees. To raise the retirement age can make a lot of differences among them and for the youth even going for the private sector however young generation is opposing this moves yet it still under consideration of the upa government if they go for either things for DA merge or hiking retirement age might people get disappointed so better they give the green signal for both the proposal and back into force because this time there is no place for single mistake and we cannot venerate such kinda decision taken by the government hope this time upa government go with the central employee.

Increasing retirement age to 62 will lead to rise in unemployment causing social impact. Bring down growth rate. No need for employee retiring extent ion since he will get rich terminal benefits and handsome pension. At least. ..... extent ion justify post 2004 recruits who is denied pension and pf . Such. Policy decision cannot be taken by outgoing govt. Without approval of parliament that on the eve of election. -A SUBRAMANIAN

60 years is enough of a person and it should our duty to offer employment of young generation for remove the burden of unemployment

Retirement age reduced by 2 to 3 year that will be better for our young generation after 55 year old men have not enough strength to do their work professionally or perfectly so I request to govt that reduced retirements aged from 60 to 55.
