The commission accordingly recommends that all past pensioners should be allowed fitment benefit equal to 40% of the pension as is being recommended for the existing Government employees and says this is consistent with fitment benefit being allowed in the case of the existing employees. But unfortunately the Commission's recommendation as stated above is contrary to its own commitment that all past pensioners should be allowed the same fitment benefit as recommended for the existing Government employees to maintain the existing modified parity between present and future retirees. The recommendation is also not consistent with fitment benefit being allowed in the case of the existing employees.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
