What is the problem in availing LTC if the spouce works for Indian railway or Indian Airlines, if they forgo the previlage passes for the particular year?
Infact the LTC facility is denied to the railway employee whose spouse works in another central govt organisation and eligible for travel by air.
For example my wife works for railway and she is eligible for travel in sleeper class only.where as I am a class one officer eligible for travel by air. if I wish to forgo the railway previlage pass and avail the LTC in my Office ,whether its permitted?
