Subject:- Extension of the term of ad-hoc promotion/appointment of PPS of CSSS as Sr. PPS of CSSS — reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Deptt’s OM’s of even No dt.29 03.2011, 2.06.2011, 18.07.2011 & 4.08.2011 and to say that the position regarding continuation of ad hoc promotions in the grade of Sr. PPS has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend further, the term of ad-hoc appointments of officers, as shown in Annexure to this OM, upto 30.11.2011 or till regular Sr, PPSs become available or until further orders whichever is earlier.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Level ‘A’ Training Programme at ISTM for U.D.Cs with 5 years’ Approved service in the grade (14/11/2011 to 09/12/2011).
         The undersigned is directed to inform that UDCs / adhoc Assistants, whose names are given in Annexure I, have been nominated for the Level 'A’ Training Programme conducted by ISTM w.e.f. 14/11/2011 to 09/12/2011. It is requested that these officials may be relieved of their duties, subject to vigilance clearance and advised to report to Ms.Rekha Sharma, Deputy Director(Co-ordinator) ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus(Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9A.M. on 14th November. 2011.
2.    The performance of the officials in the training, as evaluated and reported by ISTM thereof, may be added in their APARs. No request for withdrawal of nomination either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained by thisDepartment or the Institute. As the training of the officials and successful completion is necessary for promotion / regularization, the Cadre Units are requested to ensure that the officials nominated to the above programme are relieved in time.
3    As the aforesaid training includes study tour, officers nominated above may be advised to draw necessary TA/DA advance of Rs.12,000/- each from their respective Ministry / Department. This amount may be released in Cash only and the same shall be collected by ISTM from the participating officials.

4.   Confirmation with regard to the participation of the officials along with their respective bio-data (Annexure-II) may please be sent by 5th November. 2011 to Ms.Rekha Sharma, Deputy Director (Co-ordinator), ISTM, New Delhi, with a copy to the undersigned. Pension Schemes for Old Age Persons

The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pensions Scheme (IGNOAPS) is one of the components of National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP). Funds for NSAP are released as Additional Central Assistance by the Ministry of Finance to States and by Ministry of Home Affairs to Union Territories is combined manner for all the schemes under NSAP. Hence, no separate releases are made for IGNOAPS. As per Census 2001, female dependent senior citizens (60+) in urban areas constitute 44.8% of the total urban female senior citizens (60+) population whereas male dependent senior citizens (60+) in urban areas constitutes 23.7% of the total urban male senior citizens (60+) population. Expenditure under NSAP and number of beneficiaries reported by the States under IGNOAPS during the last five years are given as under:

Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee seeks better health care service


The Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC), Mumbai has sought an enhancement of monitoring limits of heads of department for sanctioning medical bills. It wants the present limits of of Rs. two lakh to be increased to Rs. five lakh.
