Special Package for North Eastern region.

Question :-

(a) whether the Government provides special package for promotion of various Tourist Spots in North-Eastern Region;

(b) if so, the details of the package provided during the last three years;and

(c) the other steps taken/proposed to be taken for development of tourist spots in North-Eastern Regions on the pattern of Mumbai, Goa and Jammu and Kashmir?

Parliament news : Clarification on Family Planning Allowance to Central Government employees

This information was given by MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE SHRI SUDIP BANDYOPADHYAY in written reply to a question raised (Shri S.SEMMALAI - 790) in Lok Sabha on 25.11.2011 regarding the FAMILY PLANNING ALLOWANCE to Central Government employees.

Age limit is prescribed for eligibility to receive the Family Planning Allowance..?

In the case of a male Central Government employee he should not be over 50 years and his wife should be between 20 to 45 years of age. In the case of a female government employee she must not be above 45 years and his husband must not be over 50 years of age.

Sub: Interpretation of dependency criterion for grant of two family pensions under the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 - regarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department's O.M. No.45/86/97-P&PW(A) - Part I, dated 27th October, 1997 and O.M. No.45/51/97-P&PW(E), dated 5th March, 1998 regarding eligibility of dependent parents, sons and daughters for receipt of family pension and the income/dependency criterion prescribed for that Attention is also invited to O.M. No.38/37/08-P&PW(A), dated 2nd September, 2008 whereby the dependency criterion has been revised.
