CBI Registered 1156 Corruption Cases Against Central, State & PSU Employees

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), during 2010 and 2011 (till 31.10.2011), it has registered 1,156 cases against employees of Central Government, State Governments and Public Sector Undertakings for corruption and misappropriation of Government funds, including 150 cases in Maharashtra.

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) that are operating Welfare Funds are as under:
 
Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
 
These funds are being operated/governed by the respective fund rules/Governing Bodies of respective forces.  As reported by CAPFs, the rates of contribution into these funds are as under:-

The undersigned is directed to say that the Fourth Meeting of the National Anomaly Committee to discuss the anomalies arising out of the implementation of the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission is scheduled to be held on Thursday, the 5th January, 2012 at 3.00 P.M. in Room No.119, North Block, New Delhi, Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training will chair the Meeting.
