Question :-

(a)     whether the employees of Central Government Hospitals and Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) have given a notice of strike in support of their demands;

(b)     if so, the details of these workers/employees;

(c)     whether the Union Government has not taken any decision on their demands;

(d)     if so, the reasons therefor; and

(e)     the steps taken by the Government to ensure smooth running of hospitals and CGHS dispensaries?

Any proposal to raise the retirement age of teachers..!

This information was given by Minister of State in the Ministry of Human Resource Development Shri DR.D.PURANDESWARI in written reply to a question (458 - Shri K.JAYASURYA PRAKASH REDDY) raised in Lok Sabha on 23.11.2011 regarding retirement age of teachers.



Question :-
(a) whether the Government proposes to raise the retirement age of teachers having post graduation degree from 60 to 65 years;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the action taken by the Government in this regard?
