One Day Strike on 28th February, 2012

The Working Committee of INTUC  in its meeting held at Puducherry on 29th & 30th November, 2011 has approved the decision of the Central Trade Unions to go for one day strike on 28th February, 2012 on the following issues.


  • High inflation of commodities
  • Proper implementation of labour laws
  • Stop disinvestment of the profit making public sector industries
  • Abolition of Contract Labour
  • Wages to the contract labour on par with the permanent workers
  • Implementation of Social Security Act to the unorganized sector workers
  • Provident Fund Act - Remove the ceiling of Rs.6500/-
  • Bonus Act – Remove the ceiling of Rs. 3500/-
  • Gratuity Act
  • P.F. linked pension to Rs.3000/- pm.
  • Registration of Trade Unions
  • Scrap New Pension Scheme and withdraw PFRDA Bill.

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018.
