Details of sources which contributed to increase in revenue collection is not separately maintained.
However, the primary reason for increased revenue collection are increase in GDP, changes in tax legislation, improved efficiency of tax administration, etc. This information was given by the Minister of State for Finance, Shri S.S. Palanimanickam in written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
