KV School New Uniform 2012 : KV Sangathan has advised to parents of KV students to get new uniforms from anywhere, there is no recommendation on particularly to buy materials from any vendor or manufacturers. So many varieties of materials and readymade stitched uniforms are available in major cities of India. Though, KVS has informed as follows...

"KVS is receiving the queries regarding the vendors/firms to be short listed for the supply of uniform for the students studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas. It has also come to the notice that some schools are giving a wrong notion about the availability of changed uniform through selected vendors.

These instructions shall apply mutatis mutandis on the Railways also. Rules 51, 57 and 59 of Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules 1972 mentioned in the above OMs correspond to Rules 2, 8 and 10 of Study Leave Rules, under Appendix V of Indian Railway Establishment Code Vol. I., 1985 Edition.

Sub: Allotment of revised pay structure for Official Language staff of Indian Railways.

Based on the recommendations of 6th Central Pay Commission, the revised pay structure of Rajbhasha staff of Zonal Railways was notified vide Board’s letter No.PC-VI/2008/I/RSRP/1 dated 11.9.2008 and 19.11.2008. There have been demands regarding improvement in the pay structure of above staff and an item has been raised by both the Federations before Departmental Anomaly Committee also.

No Roll Back of decision on LPG : May increase from 6 to 10 Cylinders per year..!

Government is contemplating to increase the limit of subsidised LPG cylinders to a household from 6 to 10 per year.

No roll back of decsions on diesel, LPG and FDI, said Finance Minister. But there is a chance, contemplates the option of raising the number of LPG cylinders to be made available at subsidised rates from the current 6 to 10 cylinders per year.

An earlier, the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) chaired by Prime Minister had taken the decisions that supply of subsidised LPG cylinders(14.2 kg) per household to six cylinders in a year at the rate of Rs.399 and need of beyond that would have to be paid at the rate of Rs.746 per cylinder.
