  1. Yes it is a good thing. In many state Governments the designations are as follows :-

    LDC - Junior Assistant
    UDC (2400) - Head Assistant
    UDC (4200) - Senior Assistant
    Assistant - Office Superintendent

    The above should be implemented not only in CSS but its sister organisations also.

    What about the Subordinate offices. Is there any proposal for upgradation of LDC,UDC & Assistan ?
